Rennes-le-Château, is one of the most mysterious places in the world with enough intrigue, church conspiracy and rumours of a sacred treasure to become a catalyst for many books and theories concerning the small town in Southern France. Part of the treasure of this area appears to be in the form of large megalithic ruins that have been mapped throughout the region but never fully documented and investigated. Many of these features are visible from the Magdala tower (atop Rennes) which may have been built with funds acquired by the revelation of a great treasure rumoured to have been found by a local parish priest Berenger Sauniere. An incredibly large, megalithic 'wall' area has been extensively documented in France. This wall contains masonry elements similar to Stonehenge with some very unusual stonework signs.
